Summer Camps -
There are a variety of summer camps ranging from single day camps, weeklong camps, and even ½ day camps. Choose from sports camp, classic summer camp, preschool age camps, and nature camps. Camp is filled with a range of indoor and outdoor activities including games, sports, crafts, and even field trips.
This one week summer camp for boys and girls features both indoor and outdoor athletic activities. The camp emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and of course fun, through involvement in many activities including, sports instruction, games and scrimmages in soccer, basketball, floor hockey, football, dodgeball and more. Fun team and playground games will also be played and campers will swim daily at Bartlett Aquatic Center which includes a lazy river, zipline, spray playground, new body slide, plunge slide, and tube slide. Also included is a field trip to a sport related event or activity (see list below). Participants will be divided into age specific groups for certain activities throughout the day. A camp t-shirt is also included in the fee. This is the perfect camp for the sports enthusiast and it’s sure to keep your camper active the whole day!
Camp Day by Day
Customize your child’s summer camp experience! You can enjoy camp by the day or the week. Campers will learn new games, make unique craft projects and meet new friends. This camp will go swimming on weather appropriate days. There is one scheduled field trip per each week of camp. Field trip days are listed below. Camp information and activities will vary daily. Field trip camp day registration deadline is 12noon the day before the scheduled field trip. After Camp Recreation is available from 3:30-5:30pm, advanced registration required.
This camp is designed to introduce young children to the whole day camp experience. Children will play games and participate in craft projects as well as structured playtime both inside and outdoors. They will learn the importance of sharing, listening and cooperation. This camp does not go swimming but occasionally plays water related games. Children must be toilet independent.
This camp is great for children transitioning from half-day preschool or kindergarten to full day programs in the fall. This camp does not go swimming but they will go to the Bartlett Aquatic Center Splash Pad in the morning before the pool is open to the public on weather appropriate days for approximately one hour. Children will play games and participate in craft projects as well as structured playtime both inside and outdoors. They will learn the importance of sharing, listening and cooperation. Camp activities will vary daily and may include trips to the library, occasionally watch movies, attend stories in the park, trips to the Bartlett Nature Center and other local areas. All activities are subject to change. There is no day by day registration option available for this camp. Children must be toilet independent. After Camp Recreation is available from 3:30-5:30pm, advanced registration required.
After Camp Recreation
Open to all participants enrolled in Camp Day By Day, Sports Camp,and Playgarden Camp. Children will enjoy games/activities and occasionally watch movies. Please note that we must have a minimum of 8 participants enrolled to run the program. If we do not meet the minimum, the program may be cancelled. Please send a snack and water bottle with your camper.
