The Bartlett Nature Center offers a wide variety of family, adult/child or child only programs throughout the year. These programs are listed in the current park district brochure.

Special Events

The Nature Center hosts a variety of special events throughout the year including Earth Day in April, a youth fishing derby in August, and a Zombie Run in October. 

Winter -Winterfest is a free event. Adopt a Husky will provide dog sledding demonstrations. Enjoy exhibitors and get outside and enjoy the winter at this free event. Winterfest takes place in even years.

March 4 - Dead Man's Chest Murder Mystery - Age: 21 and over

March 18 - Maple Syruping - Age: 2 and over with participating Adult

Spring - Earth Day- April 22,2017

Summer - Fishing Derby is a free event that takes place at Beaver Pond.

Fall Zombie Outbreak Dash (Run For Your Life) and Halloween Bash! October At the Bartlett Nature Center. Have a ghoulish good time as we rattle and roll around the nature center. Play games, creep along our spooktacular night hike, and create eerier delights. Come in costume for some trick or treat fun
