The Bartlett Park Gazebo is a wonderful spot for many different types of events! The Bartlett Park Gazebo is ideal for small weddings, wedding picture sessions, and renewal of vow ceremonies. Located in Bartlett Park, the Gazebo was built in 1990 to commemorate Bartlett's centennial.

Choose the Gazebo the next time you want to take memorable photos, have an outdoor birthday party or other special event! The gazebo size is approximately 32 x 32 feet. Power is available at this location.

It is available to all residents of Bartlett for a nominal permit fee and must be reserved through the Park District office to avoid conflicts. Contact the park district registration office at (630) 540-4800.

Resident Permit Rate = $18 for first 3 hours, $3 per add'l hour
Non-Resident Permit Rate = $33 for first 3 hours, $5 per add'l hour

Gazebo FAQ

Q: Am I allowed to be in the Gazebo earlier than my rental start time or stay later than my rental end-time?
A: No. You may only use the Gazebo during the time stipulated on your rental confirmation. If you think that you will need extra time to set up or clean up, you must rent out the facility for this time.

Q: Do I have to obtain and pay for a permit for the Gazebo if I am only planning on being there a short time for pictures?
A: We highly recommend that you obtain a permit for the Gazebo, even if you will only be there for a short period of time. If you arrive at the Gazebo to take your photos and there is another group there who has rented out the Gazebo, you will not be able to use this site to take your pictures.

Q: Is there a time limit for taking photos at the Gazebo?
A: Yes, the time limit is two hours.

Q: Are we allowed to have an inflatable attraction, tent(s), dunk tank or amplified sound in the park space near the Gazebo?
A: These are considered Special Requests and must be approved by the Park District’s Executive Director prior to your event. In addition, a minimum of $1 million in general liability coverage with a certificate of insurance naming Bartlett Park District as additionally insured is required. If you will be having amplified sound or tents at your event, you will also need to obtain permits from the Village of Bartlett.

Q: Is alcohol allowed at the Gazebo?
A: No, alcohol is not allowed at the Gazebo.

Q: Are there any tables or chairs at the Gazebo?
A: No, the park district does not provide tables and chairs at this location.

Q: Do we need to cleanup the Gazebo after our event?
A: Yes! The Gazebo must be left clean. Garbage must be removed by the renter(s).
