Bartlett Community Center Gymnasium

The Bartlett Community Center has 3 large basketball courts in the gym that can be rented out for sports team practices or other private rentals. The courts can be separated or combined, depending on your group size. For private rentals, maximum court capacity (for one court) is 200 people.

Gymnasium FAQ
Q: Am I allowed to have food/non-alcoholic drinks in the gym?
A: NO. Food is NOT allowed in the gym. If you are having a social function in the gym, food will only be allowed in the Oak Room (which also has to also be rented).

Q: Are street shoes allowed in the gym for social functions/dances?
A: NO. In order to protect the flooring in the gym, street shoes are not allowed. Renters and their guests must remove their shoes before entering the gym.

Q: Is alcohol allowed in the Program Rooms?
A: NO. The Oak Room is the only facility in which alcohol is allowed.

Q: What other special rules apply to social functions/dances taking place in the gym?

1. A higher security deposit per court may be required, based on the size and nature of the rental.
2. A higher gym rental fee may be charged if the rental runs after the normal business hours of the community center.
3. Any and all musical equipment that is brought into the gym must have a protective tarp underneath it so as not to cause damage to the gym floor.
4. No tape or tacks may be used on the gym walls or floor.

Q: Do I need to cleanup the gym after my event/party?
A: YES. The room must be left clean upon your departure.
