Looking for something different for Bridging Ceremonies, Pack, Troop or Den Meetings? Located across from the wetland next to the library, is a self-guided nature trail and teaching circle complete with a fire pit surrounded by wooden benches. This area can accommodate up to 125 people.
Scout leaders and teachers will appreciate the abundance of educational and environmental opportunities this circle and path can provide. It is the ideal setting for scout badge work, service projects and ceremonial events.
A rustic camping area is available for scout groups who would like to experience a camping adventure close to home. Tents are available for an additional fee. The camping area is available the first and third weekend of each month, May - October.
Call the Nature Center for more information. The O'Brien Woods Interpretive Trail is a registered Boy Scout camp site area.
