Preventative Manitenance: As part of our annual preventative maintenance program, LIFECENTER may close for up to a two-week period. The closure period is figured into the membership fee schedule, therefore no adjustments will be made to memberships for closures less than the scheduled two weeks. One-Month memberships will be adjusted.
Equipment Orientations: All members age 14-18 must attend an equipment orientation before a membership card is issued or membership is activated. Members age 14-15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Individual Memberships: One adult between the age of 18 through 61.
Couple/2nd Family Member: Two individuals that reside at the same address and can provide proof of marriage, domestic or civil union partnership, or a parent and dependent student between the age of 14 and 24.
Additional Family Members: At least three people that reside at the same address and can provide proof of marriage, domestic or civil union partnership, or a parent and dependent student(s) between the ages of 14 and 24.
Senior Memberships: To qualify for discounted senior rates the age is 62 & up.
2nd Senior: For individuals age 62 & up that reside at the same address and can provide proof of marriage, domestic or civil union partnership. May be combined with other pass types, but the most expensive pass prevails as the primary member.
Student Memberships: To qualify for the discounted student rate you must provide proof of full-time schooling (12 or more credits) This may not be combined with other pass types.
Military Discount Program: In recognition of men and women who are actively serving our country, the Bartlett Park District will give active duty military personnel who are deployed away from home but are home on leave use of the LIFECENTER Health & Fitness Club and Splash Central for a discount. This program is not available to reserve or guard members who are stationed in the area and are living at home. For more information see the health club counter.
*Payments: Memberships may be purchased by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Annual memberships, may choose monthly electronic funds transfer (EFT) through a checking account. *There is a $3 monthly charge for EFT service. This annual membership automatically renews after the first year and will continue until it is cancelled by providing a 30 day written notice. Adjustments to the membership payment will be made when there is a change in membership price. Two (2) months payment and a voided check are required during initial pass purchase.
Payment Policy: Payments for all health club related activities including but not limited to memberships, fitness assessments, personal training services, flex passes, fitness programs, running track, admission fees, etc., are due before the activity or use begins. Payments may be made by cash, credit card or check made payable to the Bartlett Park District. All payments must be made to a cashier who will issue you a Park District receipt. No payments are allowed directly to staff except cashiers, nor is staff allowed to offer special pricing or discounts other than the posted and advertised rates. If you are asked to do so or staff does not give you a Park District receipt please notify the Health Club Manager immediately. Park District policies do not allow staff to accept tips/gratuities or gifts.

"In District" is defined as anyone living within the geographical boundaries of the Bartlett Park District who pays property taxes contributing to the Bartlett Park District. The Bartlett Park District reserves the right to request proof of residency. "Out of District" is someone who lives outside the geographical boundaries and does not pay property taxes contributing to the Bartlett Park District. The park district assesses a “fair share” out of district fee to all programs and services. In District participants also have an opportunity to go into the random draw for programs before out of district participants.

Participant Guidelines - Participants are expected to exhibit appropriate behavior at all times. The following guidelines have been developed to help make park district programs safe and enjoyable for all participants. Additional rules may be developed for particular programs and athletic leagues as deemed necessary by staff.
Equal Access - No participant shall, on the basis or race, sex, creed, national origin, or disability be denied equal access to programs, activities, services or benefits, or be limited in the exercise of any right, privilege, advantage, or opportunity.
Behavior - Participants are expected to exhibit appropriate behavior at all times. The following guidelines have been developed to help make programs safe and enjoyable for all participants. Additional rules may be developed for particular programs and athletic leagues as deemed necessary by staff.
Participants shall:
1. Show respect to all participants and staff.
2. Take direction from staff.
3. Refrain from using abusive or foul language.
4. Refrain from causing bodily harm to self, other participants, or staff.
5. Show respect for equipment, supplies, and facilities
Please Note: You must bring proof of residency with you for your discounted resident admission. (driver’s license, real estate tax bill, current water bill, school I.D., or bus pass). If you fail to show your proof of residency you will be required to pay the regular rates.
Our caring staff is here Mon - Sat to watch your children (hours vary), while you take part in one of the community center programs. You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child that you are bringing to use this service. All parents or guardians must remain in the community center while their child is at KIDS STOP. There is a two hour limit per visit.
