Adult (14-adult) Auditions:
July 17 & 18 from 7:30-9:30pm

Adults (age 14-adult) auditioning should be prepared to sing a Broadway style song that showcases their voice and bring the sheet music. Those auditioning for a lead role (Horton, Cat in the Hat, JoJo, Mayzie, Gertrude, Sour Kangaroo, or General Ghengus Khan Schmitz) should sing one of the solos for that character from the show (you do not need the sheet music for the solos from the show).
Youth (8-13) should sing one of the following selections from the show: Alone In The Universe, It’s Possible Part 1, The One Feather Tail of Miss Gertrude McFuzz, or Green Eggs and Ham (Finale Bows: swing). The sheet music for these selections will be available at the front desk by May 22 as part of an audition packet. The audition music is rented material and must be returned after your audition.
Audition Form and Photo: A photo is requested to leave with the director (the photo need not be professionally taken). For questions call 630-540-4834. If cast there is a program fee of $50 resident or $60 nonresident. You will receive a production T-shirt, use of the libretto, and 2 complimentary tickets to the show as well as theatrical experience. Audition forms are available on our web site www.bartlettparks.org and in the BCC lobby.
Cast Posting: The cast for Seussical will be posted at the BCC and on our web site by Tuesday, July 22 at 4pm
Cast/Parent Meeting: Wednesday, July 23 at 7pm at BCC
Show dates are: Oct. 10-11, 16-18 at 7pm & Oct. 12 at 2pm.
Performances: Held on the Oak Room Stage in the Bartlett Community Center
